Fitness Class: A MATTER OF BALANCE - Fall 2026
Corewell Health: Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A MATTER OF BALANCE is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.
You will learn to: ~ View falls as controllable ~ Set goals for increasing activity ~ Make changes to reduce fall risks at home ~ Exercise to increase strength and balance
Who should attend? ~ Anyone concerned about falls ~ Anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength ~ Anyone who has fallen in the past ~ Anyone who has restricted activities because of falling concerns
Dates: Thursdays, September 24 - November 12 Time: 9:30 - 11:00am Location: Neighborhood Club Board Room, Second Floor Cost: Free to ALL participants Registration is required - please register below Instructor: Sunny Participants are expected to attend at least 6 - 8 sessions of this 8 week program. Program is one 2-hour class per week for 8 weeks Max. 15, Min. of 5 participants.

Fitness Class: Tai Chi, Fall 2026
Tai Chi for Health with Vernice is a gentle exercise program combining slow movements, deep breathing, and mindfulness to improve balance flexibility, and overall well-being. Suitable for all fitness levels, it promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and enhances physical and mental health.

"A Pull Toward Renewal" sound journey, we invite you to listen for a pull. If you feel a pull, approach it with curiosity and no judgment. Ask it what it's about, and ask it to guide you toward spring energy. See if there are any blocks to fully embracing it. And, what can you do to really recognize the "pull toward renewal" both during (and after) the sound journey.

Pilates Foundations is a 4-session mat Pilates series that will teach you the basics of Pilates to build a stronger, more confident practice. You will learn the fundamental principles and build body awareness through various exercises. The difficulty of the flow will progress each week in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

Fitness: Sound Bowl Healing Class, Fall 2026
Crystal singing bowls promote deep healing through vibrational frequencies that resonate within the body. Made from pure quartz crystal, these bowls penetrate to the cellular level, supporting stress relief, focus, improved sleep and emotional release. Membership is required for Normatec compression sleeves. Purchased packages may be used ONLY by the purchasing member. Individual packages may not be shared. Payment & registration transactions are handled at the front desk.
